**Role Responsibilities**:
Field Technician:

- Perform daily checklists and purges on transmitters and vessels as well as, conduct any weekly or monthly checklists that are due.
- Monitor and check all pumps, motors and systems.
- Check systems for proper valve arrangement and check for any pipe, valve or flange leaks.
- Lab testing and quality control of production.
- Handle and conduct quality testing of Fibreline product.
- Operate a forklift.
- Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Actively support process optimization within the team.
- Work closely to resolve operating issues in safety, environment and production.
- Perform labour intensive tasks in hot and humid conditions.

Operate DCS Panel:

- Responsible for the safe operation of pressure equipment and piping, as well as overseeing environmental compliance and quality/quantity of production.
- Oversee and troubleshoot the entire Fibreline Operation including starting up and shutting down the Fiberline process when required.

**Role Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous pulp mill experience would be a great asset, specifically the Fibreline area.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and basic knowledge of root cause analysis.
- Desire to learn new areas and experience new challenges.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Self-motivated to be a continuous learner of procedures and processes with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
- Complete NAIT Pulp and Paper course within three years.
