**Role Responsibilities**

**3D CAD Modelling** - Manage and organize Al-Pac’s Plant 3D system. Create and maintain templates, catalogues, specifications, and act as a resource for other users.
- **3D Scanning** - Coordinate scanning projects for maintenance and project activities. Manage the cloud scan database (user access, project creation and organization, uploading and downloading scans and data).
- **Engineering Design and Drafting** - Create 3D models and 2D drawings both collaboratively and independently.
- **Drafting Procedures and Training** - Create, maintain, and guide procedures/training as related to drafting activities.
- **Document Control** - Coordinate with others to ensure the proper document control of drawings and other engineering records produced.

**Role Requirements**

Be an experienced/certified AutoCAD Plant 3D operator.

**Considered an asset**:

- A diploma in an Engineering Technology program related to Design/Drafting.
- Registration with ASET.
- Knowledge of other AutoCAD programs (Inventor etc).
- Knowledge of 3D scanning and cloud storage.
- Knowledge in piping design and B31/ABSA codes.
- Manufacturing, Industrial Plant experience.
- Strong comprehension of engineering, project documentation and records management.
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Adaptable to change and ability to work effectively under pressure with changing timelines.
- Accuracy in processing.
