**Responsibilities**:

- Provide supervision and planning in the successful completion of Distribution projects. Oversee the method of construction, manpower, equipment, and material needed and quality control
- Handle creation of job duties, job planning, confirm fit for duty, conduct tailboards for any work deviation and delegate tasks to site crews
- Direct and participate in day-to-day work activities as a working Foreman to ensure that established goals and objectives are met and enforce compliance to Health & Safety and wok practices
- Read and interpret record drawings and blueprints
- Perform audits of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices
- Oversee and supervise subcontractors to work within tight power outage timelines
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and weekly audits on assigned crew vehicles and advise of repairs when required; ensure compliance to company and transportation standards
- Participate and engage in weekly Crew Leader meetings aimed towards improving overall company efficiency
- Consistently mentor, train and improve new and existing employees
- Assist Management with quarterly crew member reviews
- Identifies and makes recommendations for improvement of work methods to the leadership team at the construction site
- Other tasks related to this function as assigned

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Journeyman Powerline Technician Trade Certificate required
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the powerline trade
- Previous experience in a Lead Hand or Foreman position
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License, Class 1 or Class 3 is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and execute written work plans, blueprints, and writing schematics
- Able and willing to work a Wednesday-Wednesday rotation (7 on/6 off) with overtime hours as required
- Able and willing to travel for extended periods of times to and from camp site with personal vehicle
- Perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of Pre-Access D&A testing, presenting a valid Driver's License and an acceptable five (5) years drivers abstract
