**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **Supervisor, Document Control** to manage the document control function for cross functional teams for our North American Project Group -including both internal teams and external stakeholders.

This individual will:

- Offer day-to-day direction and technical mentorship for the Document Control team
- Manage employee development plans, oversight of training requirements, annual reviews including compensation, and resource forecasting of all current and upcoming projects.
- Provide confidential document retrieval services for Senior Management, Contracts and Legal teams.
- Provide technical document control, training and direction to project team members and construction contractors and ensure compliance to internal Vale standards.
- Be responsible for the development and oversight to document control standards, processes and work instructions.

**About You**

Education**:

- Records management training (certificate preferred)

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 11-15 years of professional experience

**Skills**:

- Knowledge in an electronic document management system (Hummingbird/ Edocs)
- Highly experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Pro or PDF Exchange
- Strong organizational skills
