Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Document Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for verifying facts, dates, and statistics in books, articles, and other publications using standard reference sources.

In this role, you will detect and mark grammatical or typographical errors for correction, proofread data, compile and verify material before publication, and perform routine clerical duties.

You will also be responsible for compiling, verifying, recording, and processing applications, licenses, permits, contracts, registrations, requisitions, and other forms and documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify facts, dates, and statistics in books, articles, and other publications using standard reference sources.
  • Detect and mark grammatical or typographical errors for correction.
  • Proofread data.
  • Compile and verify material before publication.
  • Perform routine clerical duties.
  • Compile, verify, record, and process applications, licenses, permits, contracts, registrations, requisitions, and other forms and documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license.
