The Opportunity
The City of St. Albert’s Financial & Strategic Services department is recruiting for a permanent, part time Revenue Services Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Accountant III (A/R), the incumbent is responsible for verifying information and managing the Ambulance and General accounts receivables, cash receipting and miscellaneous revenue. A strong customer service background is essential in providing support to internal and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma with some post-secondary courses in Business/Accounting programs combined with a minimum of three (3) years in a revenue/accounting-related field.
- Experience with accounts receivable, financial reconciliations, collections, customer service, billings, cash handling and internal controls.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, along with a knowledge of financial software (e.g. Tempest, Agresso).
- An understanding of internal controls, specifically relating to revenue and cash receipting.
- Demonstrated skills dealing with sensitive situations requiring tact and diplomacy, compassion, and empathy.
- Sound customer service skills.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent part-time position working a minimum of 45 hours bi-weekly. (Monday to Friday for 4.5 hours per day). Please note additional hours may be required to cover for vacation periods.
Compensation
$29.51 - $35.25 per hour. In addition, the City of St. Albert offers a generous and comprehensive benefit package.
