**JOB SUMMARY**

***This is a temporary position ending on or before March 31, 2025**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Revenue and Treasury Management, the Manager, Liquor and Cannabis Revenue oversees professional staff in ensuring completeness and accuracy of revenues recorded for the sale of liquor and cannabis. This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and support for the two teams in the recording, reconciling, and timely reporting of liquor and cannabis revenues, investigation of anomalies and discrepancies identified and financial reporting activities.

The Manger is responsible for establishing and maintaining appropriate financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity of revenue transactions recorded under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and that risks are mitigated to an acceptable level and meet audit requirements.

This position is responsible for leading teams through continuous improvement, including enhancements to processes and reporting. In addition, the Manager is responsible for effectively contributing to, and supporting the achievement of, established Branch goals and objectives, as it relates to liquor and cannabis revenue. This includes leading both teams through a customer-focused strategy, while ensuring congruence with AGLC Acts, policies, and guidelines.

The Manager must maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and therefore is responsible for having a thorough understanding of the complexities of each line of business and the resulting financial impact. This position is responsible for providing strong, value-added support to the liquor and cannabis operational teams as required.

Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Ensure completeness, accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial results as it relates to the portfolio.
- Provide leadership and support in daily operations, issues management, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure internal controls, policies and procedure adhere to IFRS and audit requirements.
- Champion, empower and lead the team in continuous process improvement.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough end-to-end understanding of all liquor and cannabis business processes and related financial impacts.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- The position requires a degree with a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) and a minimum of four years of related experience including progressively more responsible supervisory experience.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of IFRS, Financial Management, internal controls, auditing principles and techniques is required.
- Experience with JDE would be considered an asset.

**NOTE**:
