**JOB SUMMARY**

As a member of the Human Resources team, the Employee Development Coordinator will work closely with the Manager, Employee Development, and will be responsible for providing professional and efficient support for all employee development activities, including employee recognition and engagement. This includes maintaining the training tracking system, researching and coordinating in-house training, and reconciling of the HR corporate learning budget. As well, you will provide support to the Engagement and Recognition Consultant to administer the STAR Program and support employee engagement initiatives. This position will lead small programs including, but not limited to, Speakers Corner and facilitating the New Employee Orientation.

Lastly, as the Employee Development Coordinator, you will provide back-up support to the Human Resources Assistant in relation to general recruitment tasks such as scheduling interviews, administering pre-interview testing and entry level recruitments, as well as career fair planning and attendance.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- 3 years of administrative support experience is required, preferably in a Human Resources environment.
- Strong computer skills including Excel and other MS Office Programs.
- Experience in career coaching and recruitment is an asset.
- Familiarity with using a Learning Management System (LMS) is an asset and working with Database systems.

- As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain a satisfactory security clearance and clean drivers abstract (if necessary) prior to employment.
