- Individuals seeking amazing careers, we offer technical courses and vocational certificate programs;
- Employers, looking to hire or enhance their workforce, we offer an assortment of short duration, face-to-face training to upskill workers in key business areas, including train-the-trainer programs;
- For non-profit and social benefit organizations, we are a training partner for employment and skills training programs to prepare their clients for job readiness and employment.

**What we are looking for**:
We are currently looking for a new operations manager to join our team. You will lead corporarate priorities to simplify systems and expand operations to better serve clients.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The Manager, Operations is responsible with supporting the Executive to provide the team with the platform (systems, tools, processes, and procedures) to succeed and the business to grow.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

**Marketing**
- Leads and coordinates all marketing and communications initiatives to increase exposure of organizational brand(s) to help build the business.
- Ensures a robust marketing plan exists that is easy to follow and update no less than monthly.
- Ensure coordinated and consistent messaging by drafting copy or soliciting and editing copy from others, including testimonials and success stories. Develops content for and drafts editorial, advocacy, and other opinion pieces to promote organizational goals.
- Supports engagement with media, and acts as alternate spokesperson.
- Enforce branding guidelines.
- Works with the design team to develop creative promotional material to market ideas, programs, products and services to partners, clients, decision makers and other stakeholders.
- Manages third-party contractors providing graphic design, web development, and social media services.

**Strategic Projects**
- Implement tools and platforms to deliver return on investment, especially marketing, such as:

- Shepherding evaluation, design, and delivery of CRM client relationship management (B2B);
- Shepherding evaluation, design, and delivery of CMS case management system (skills development and employment placement); and
- Integrating CRM/CMS with targeted marketing campaigns (website, social media) and stakeholder engagement.
- Support launch of independent LMS platform to give organization and clients greater skills development, training, and reporting flexibility.
- As part of business growth, support establishment of operations in other jurisdictions, identify strategic partners, and/or acquisition targets.

**Executive Operations**
- Can act as a gateway for requests to the Organization/Executive. This requires a detailed understanding of the structure of the organization and its teams and projects.
- Evaluates the urgency and priority of items and requests, handling them as appropriate; ensuring that all requests are resolved or routed appropriately and expeditiously.
- Researches trends and uses information to develop or refine projects.
- Identifies opportunities for business growth directly and/or with partners.
- Drafts and supports development of project proposals and bid documents to help business expansion.
- Prepares and monitors project budgets and works proactively to achieve objectives.
- Looks for operational efficiencies to save the organization time and money.
- Develops and maintains internal policies and procedures.

**Human Resources/Financial/Facility Operations**
- Manages Human Resources matters including planning, coordination, recruiting and execution of the hiring process, assisting in the drafting of job descriptions, drafting of employment agreements, manages employee orientation, onboarding and exit processes.
- Drafts contracts for approval.
- Prepares monthly financial reports.
- Liaison with landlord and property manager.
- Oversees key procurement and maintenance projects, if and when required.
