Position Title: Director of Business Development
- Company: Scootaround powered by WHILL
- Location: Western Region
- This position is WFH with travel required. 50%+ of the time will be spent in travel.
- Reports to: VP General Manager of Mobility Services for North America

**Overview**:

- Scootaround powered by WHILL is a leading mobility rental company specializing in providing innovative mobility solutions to individuals, and organizations. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of our business in Southern California and Nevada. Reporting to the VP General Manager of Mobility Services for North America, the Director of Business Development Manager will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in the region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand Scootaround Powered by WHILL's presence in Southern California and Nevada markets.
- Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including, hotels, attractions, casinos, event venues, and other potential partners.
- Collaborate with the VP General Manager of Mobility Services for North America to define market expansion strategies, revenue targets, and performance metrics.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities in the mobility rental industry.
- Generate leads, qualify prospects, and manage the sales pipeline to meet revenue targets and business objectives.
- Coordinate and conduct product/service demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for clients, partners, and internal staff.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with clients and partners to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and sales collateral to support business development efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide regular reports, forecasts, and updates to the VP General Manager of Mobility Services for North America on sales activities, progress against targets, and market insights.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or related roles, preferably in the mobility rental industry, hospitality, or healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence.
- Strong understanding of hotel/hospitality management, procurement, and operations.
- Strong understanding of mobility products and solutions, including wheelchairs, scooters, and other assistive devices an asset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within Southern California and Nevada regions.
