At Innomar Strategies, we are united in our responsibility to create healthier futures. As a Business Development Director, you will play a critical role in driving KPI targets for our geo-territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a remote team of Field Nurses within assigned geographical territory.
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators for clinic and nursing operations, including budget and expense controls.
  • Monitor demand for clinic and nursing services to ensure adequate resource availability to meet customer and patient care services required within assigned region.
  • Manage clinic growth opportunities, including site identification and establishing new clinic sites.
  • Review reports related to field nurse staff training and ensure compliance.
  • Continuously review and manage staff availability to ensure it meets the needs within the IBU.
  • Collaborate with Scheduling Associates to ensure efficient appointment scheduling that aligns with KPIs (6 hours/week).
  • Be available to cover emergency excursions, sick/emergency calls, and clinical questions with support from the regional team as necessary.
  • Communicate and implement all program and departmental policies and protocols at the IBU level.
  • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures.
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships (patients, manufacturers, etc.) within assigned territory.
  • Interview and manage the onboarding and orientation of new staff and ensure adequate resourcing for new program launches.
  • Ongoing performance management for all direct reports, including ensuring the HRIS system is maintained.
  • Ensure quarterly reviews of nursing staff within the IBU to ensure they are working within appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Analyze, plan, and implement process improvements to achieve utilization and efficiency targets.
  • Ensure program (internal/external) requirements are met regarding processes and applicable documentation.
  • Ensure nurses within their IBU work under Provincial College of Nurses' and/or Associations standards of practice, maintaining annual nursing licensing.
  • Ensure all nurses are certified based on RN or RPN/LPN requirements.
  • Travel as required throughout assigned territory, including clinic visits to conduct audits as per frequency required, as well as regular travel for management meetings at head office.
  • Prepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Coordinate all requested clinic visits/tours.
  • Participate regularly in teleconferences or web-based meetings to collaborate and share information.
  • Occasionally provide specialized infusion/injection therapies and nursing services to patients in outpatient clinics or homecare settings.

KOL Execution:

  • Execute key deliverables to maximize nursing operational imperatives.
  • Strengthen and maintain existing relationships with KOL partners.

Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders:

  • Liaise with other Managers, Field Case Managers, Senior Managers, and Directors to create a team approach to service delivery and planning, ensuring optimal customer service and seamless program execution in the field.
  • Work with key pharmaceutical and physician/clinic customers.

Administrative, Training, Corporate Activities:

  • Organize and coordinate training for new Field Nurses on departmental policies, clinical skills, procedures, and administrative tasks.
  • Provide front-line support to Field Nurses regarding nursing concerns, payroll issues, vacation authorization, and scheduling concerns.
  • Review nurse timesheets/expenses to ensure proper completion and accuracy (10 hours/week).
  • Complete incident reports and corrective action plans (CAPAs) according to company policy.
  • Maintain continuous quality improvement and compliance with monthly, quarterly, and annually auditing as it pertains to OCC/QA standards.
  • Perform related duties and tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent, with registration with the College of Nurses in the province of employment required.
  • CVAA certification an asset.
  • BCLS/CPR required; ACLS optional/as required.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of nursing experience.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of management experience or working with a remote team, with related experience in managing and guiding people an asset.
  • Experience in nurse training & education.
  • Experience working with the biotechnical/pharmaceutical industry an asset.
  • Availability and willingness to travel as per business need essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office Programs.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) an asset.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
