Continuous Quality Improvement

The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Ottawa Hospital is dedicated to improving patient care. To assess the impact of surgical interventions on our patients’ quality of life, our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)program gathers information on health status throughout the clinical journey. We have developed a digital platform that has been in active use for the past four years, to provide tools to collect data relevant to quality of life including symptoms, joint functionality, physical, mental, and social health.
**Tasks include but are not limited to**
- Using the Division’s orthopaedic database to check questionnaire completion by patients.
- Managing patient lists and compliance tracking
- Data entry into the database
- Completing data requests for purposes of QI reports or studies.
- Providing regular updates on data collection to the CQI team
**Basic Requirements (Education/Experience)**:
- Superior communication skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Attention to details.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Knowledge of Excel
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Bilingual (French and English)
**Contract Details**:
This is a 1-year full-time position (37.5 hours/week). This is a hybrid work setting.
**Salary**: Min: $19.931/hr. Max: $25.370/hr.
