About This Role

The Senior Program Manager is a key member of the HSO Products and Strategic Offerings team, reporting to the Director of Cultural Safety and Humility. As part of our content development business unit, this role plays a critical role in creating high-quality standards and solutions for health and social services.

This position requires a compassionate leader who actively listens, mentors, and engages with their team. As a resilient change agent, you will possess a growth mindset, with the ability to pivot, problem solve, and continuously learn in a dynamic environment.

As a senior program manager, you will be responsible for leading the design, co-production, and release of people-centered, evidence-based standards. You will work collaboratively with the team, subject matter experts, and Technical Committee members to achieve this goal.

You will also be accountable for ensuring compliance with Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of high-quality standards that meet the needs of healthcare providers and organizations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that standards are accurate, relevant, and effective.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis governing bodies, communities, and organizations.
  • Provide expertise and advice to peers on anti-oppression, anti-racism, cultural safety, and humility.
  • Continuously improve and innovate standards development processes.
