**Who are we looking for?**
**GHD has been retained by the Prime Contractor on a large remediation project in Ontario. Our role is to provide project risk and controls support, as well as project administration support.**
We are searching for a **Project Contract Administrator. This position can be based in any of the GHD offices in the Greater Toronto Area or Waterloo. This is a permanent role but a contract role may also be considered.**
**In this role, your responsibilities will include**:
- Supporting both our client (prime contractor) and GHD with contract risks
- Developing and processing change orders for GHD and other subcontractors
- Managing cost and schedule exposure
- Monthly reporting, root cause, and variance analysis
- Preparation of and maintenance of risk registers
- Leading or assisting with risk workshops and meetings
- Overall project documentation assistance, including writing technical reports associated with project progress
- Managing lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
**What you will bring to the table**:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 4+ years of experience
- Experience with site investigation, remediation, and remedial construction is an asset but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
- Be organized and assist project managers with achieving goals
- Demonstrate the ability and drive to be proactive and take ownership of the task
- Willingness to travel to the site in Port Hope approximately 10 percent of the time
