**Responsibilities**:
The Pedagogical Coordinator is a professional role responsible for supporting the development of Pedagogists and pedagogical projects within the Network. The Pedagogical Coordinator will coach and mentor Pedagogists to create opportunities for enhanced pedagogical work within early childhood education that fosters democratic, experimental, and socially just cultures of practice and aligns with the vision of the BC Early Learning Framework. The Pedagogical Coordinator will work with the leadership team in the implementation, evaluation, and sustainability of the Pedagogist role within British Columbia.
- Provides advice, guidance, and expertise to Pedagogists to enhance their knowledge and skills related to implementing their Pedagogist role
- Provides one-on-one and group coaching to Pedagogists for developing, implementing, and evaluating their pedagogical plan
- Advises and supports Pedagogists regarding Network performance expectations
- Supports Pedagogists in development of public content from their pedagogical and curricular work (e.g., pedagogical narrations, blog posts, annual reports)

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Minimum Required: Master’s Degree

Major: Adult Education, Education or other related field

Preferred: PhD in a relevant discipline

**Experience**:
Minimum Required: 5 years
- Experience: Experience in adult education, Experience in the early years’ education field, Experience developing pedagogical approaches
- Skills, Abilities & Expertise:
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Familiarity with financial records management
- Familiarity with Human Resources principles and practices
- Familiarity with University policies and procedures preferred
- Ability to ensure expenditures and resources are within allotments, and to make appropriate modifications when required
- Ability to foster collaboration and respect among team members
- Communication skills with confidence interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Customer service skills with a desire to achieve results in a professional and timely manner
- Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to create a positive impression while interacting with others and responding to inquiries, by telephone, in person or electronically
- Results-oriented with an ability to handle many tasks and maintain a high level of individual and team performance
