**_Makon Projects Ltd. Project Coordinator Job Description_**
Makon Projects is looking to hire a project coordinator who will be responsible for assisting our project managers in organizing our ongoing projects. The Project Coordinator must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-oriented and community focussed. To be a successful project coordinator you will need to have the ability to work on tight deadlines, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
**_Working Relationships_**
- Reports to: Project Manager
**_Responsibilities and Duties: _**
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, and schedules.
- Analyze project progress and, if necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs
- Providing detailed updates to project managers
- Provide administrative support where needed
- Screen incoming phone calls, taking messages when appropriate
- Coordinate meetings and take notes when necessary
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Developing project strategies
- Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
**_Qualifications: _**
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, external partners and clients
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Emotional maturity
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
**_Education and Experience Requirements:_**
- Architectural & Building Technology Diploma or Degree (strongly preferred)
- Strong work tenure: 3+ years construction project experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
