**What will you be doing?**

Reporting to the Production Manager and President, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and coordination of various production projects. Your role will involve coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, and within quality specifications and budget.

This includes:

- Produce and distribute production schedules, work orders, and shipping schedules
- Confer with Production Manager and relevant personnel, vendors, or sales to coordinate production and shipping activities
- Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain proper segregation of materials
- Generate purchase orders for raw materials and components
- Identify issues and trends with inventory and quality to develop root cause and corrective action plans to address issues and/or eliminate delays
- Lead efforts to make improvements in scheduling, quality and reporting
- Support and assist with quality investigations
- Compile reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production related KPIs
- Responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining Bills of Materials and our Document Library (work instructions, manuals, standard operating procedures, etc)
- Preventative Maintenance tracking and maintenance work orders
- Assist with the tracking of R&D projects

**Who you are**:

- Experience in Production required, Planning or Quality Assurance an asset
- Experience using ERP systems
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically using Excel
- You have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality controls, and other techniques maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of our products
- You hold a degree or diploma or equivalent on-the-job experience
- Strong communicator with the ability to give clear instructions
