**Job Description**:
We are presently recruiting for an **Associate** **to join the Management Insights & Analytics (MI&A) team in Performance, Reporting and Analysis (PRA) group within the Finance department.

The Associate will be in a key supporting role to the Total Fund Management (TFM) Finance Business Partner, providing input to analytics on performance, exposure, cost, risk, attribution and value-add for Senior Management across the Fund. The Associate will coordinate and contribute to multiple projects to evolve and implement TFM performance measurement. The Associate will additionally be responsible for conducting exploratory analysis and research related to total Fund activities as well as creating reports that deliver meaningful insights on departmental activities.

**Role-Specific Accountabilities**:

- Work in a team to produce exploratory total Fund and investment department analysis to communicate the “story” behind the numbers to Senior Management
- Develop compelling materials to facilitate discussions including creatively conveying data and analysis with charts, tables and other visuals in pre-read and presentation material
- Support and work on new analytics initiatives to provide insightful recommendations to internal business partners and Senior Management
- Develop and foster effective working relationships within the team and across groups at CPP Investments
- Address ad-hoc business requests to facilitate the Board discussions
- Enhance data collection procedures to automate data collection from disparate databases and improve processes as well as building effective analytics systems

**Qualifications**:
**If you possess the following, we’d like to hear from you**:

- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in financial analysis or consulting
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; professional designations (CFA, CA, CIPM) are considered assets
- Proven experience in VBA, SQL, and/or Tableau is considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience building compelling presentation decks
- Highly organized, attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders and effectively project manage deliverables
- Self-motivated, able to think critically and creatively, adaptable to changing priorities and new challenges
- Proven ability to work independently as well as to perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
