**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:
Serves as the the division nutrition/ food security program business coordinator:

- Assisting with approved grant submissions and distribution of funds.
- Responsible for planning, evaluating, and initiating programs to meet current and future needs of the division and schools in the key area of nutrition and food security.
- Arranging for direct purchasing of food supplies and services.
- Dealing with vendors on behalf of the school in arranging for food supplies or other goods and services, problem-solving, negotiating special services, etc.
- Maintaining and updating financial records (accounts payable, receivable, budget, capital equipment inventory etc.)
- Receiving and reconciling inventory.
- Plan, organize, control and direct the scheduling of delivery of food and supplies to separate school sites as necessary.
- Some assignments may require use of own vehicle
- Other duties as assigned by the Division Principal.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Must demonstrate a high level of competency in multiple skill areas and exhibit the ability to organize, work efficiently and independently as well as part of a team.
- Requires the ability to sequence and integrate multiple projects and programs.
- This position is in frequent contact with District Administration, leadership at school sites, outside vendors, contractors and partners.
- Communicate with other district administrators, principals, directors and outside contractors to coordinate activities and programs, resolve issues, conflicts and exchange information.

**Education and Experience**

**a) Education**:
i) High School Diploma
ii) Completion of Office Administration/Accounting Diploma or equivalent

**b) Experience**:
i) 3 to 5 years of related experience (Business Management, project management, finance, accounting)
ii) Rycor ( or other accounting Software) experience would be an asset
iii)Expertise in databases and spreadsheet software is an asset as is knowledge of Google Drive
iv) Previous experience working as a business coordinator is an asset
- Equivalencies will be considered._

**This position requires a current clean criminal record check and child intervention record check***
- Hours of Work: 35 hours /week (Monday - Friday)
- Pay Range: $23.17 - $29.86 per hour (Pay Group 7)

**This position is covered by the Central Alberta Association for Municipal and School Employees Collective Agreement.**
