Parkland School Division (PSD) is a large progressive school jurisdiction serving Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Fort Chipewyan and Parkland County. PSD meets the diverse educational needs of over 12,000 rural and urban students among 23 sites, including outreach schools and alternative education programs.

École Meridian Heights School, located in the heart of Stony Plain, AB serves approximately 630 students from all over the west region of the Division’s attendance areas. The school is one one of Parkland School Division’s (PSD) two French Immersion schools. It’s also unique as its the only school in PSD that serves as a duel-track school giving the option for families in the Meridian Heights neighbourhood for full-English programming as well. The school prides itself on a collaborative environment where staff and students alike are engaged in an ever-evolving learning journey.
The school boasts an exceptional array of programs and extracurricular activities that cater to a wide range of interests and talents. Its outstanding music program features award-winning choirs that highlight the school’s commitment to excellence in the arts. Additionally, École Meridian Heights School is renowned for its robust athletic programs, including an impressive running program. **Primary Responsibilities**:
Provide instructional leadership to our teaching teams to support the continued development of engaging learning environments for students, which includes effective assessment practices and activities that support student growth in Citizenship and Social Responsibility.
Collaborate with staff, parents, students and administrative teams from Parkland School Division to plan for the delivery of quality programs that are responsive to our students.
Manage and organize school routines and procedures that ensure a safe and caring school community.
Demonstrate creative, visionary leadership that assists our school community to provide meaningful, relevant educational opportunities.
