In September 2007, the exchange launched the first continuous auction market to trade securities listed on other Canadian stock exchanges. The new facility introduced a high capacity, low latency trading environment combined with an attractive fee structure that enabled the Canadian trading community to use advanced trading technologies to their full advantage, while delivering cost savings enhancing the competitiveness of the Canadian markets.

The CSE is looking for an Investigative Research Administrator to join the team in Toronto. Administrative experience is preferred.

Reporting to the Head of Investigative Research & Disclosure, the Administrator is responsible for data entry, document preparation and aiding in the intake and processing of Personal Information Forms (PIFs).

**Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Prepare documents, create information requests, and maintain appropriate filing/storage systems ensuring confidentiality and protection of information.
- Ensure PIF submissions meet department/regulatory standards and all required documents are included.
- Assist department as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Communicate with and assist Investigative Research and Listings & Regulation staff on relevant issues.
- Assist Investigative Research Compliance Coordinator with investigations.

** Must be able to commute to Bay St. & Adelaide (Downtown Toronto) reliably, Monday to Friday. This is a Work from Office position.**

**Required Competencies and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant or Office Administrative Assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
