Banff, Canada Bow View Lodge Banff Park Lodge Peaks Hotel & Suites Full time

Thank you for your interest in joining our team as **Guest Services Supervisor.**

**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:

- Lead and manage the front office team,
- Provide training and ongoing support to staff, and be proactive in the team’s development,
- Provide feedback and performance evaluations for team members,
- Create and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment,
- Ensure guests' satisfaction from arrival to departure, including maintaining effective communications and resolving escalated guest issues,
- Conduct and oversee front desk duties such as check-ins, check-outs, making guest keys, etc.,
- Verify billing, create room reservations, and process special requests,
- Provide concierge services, such as restaurant and attraction recommendations and transportation arrangements,
- Regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met,
- Work closely with all other departments to ensure the best possible guest experience,
- Assist in managing and monitoring budgets and inventories,
- Ensure a safe environment for guests and staff,
- And other duties as assigned.
- Effective leadership with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 1 to 2 years previous Hotel Front Desk or Reservations experience
- Professional and friendly personality and demeanor in person and over the telephone
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and property management systems such as Opera/Opera Cloud

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$20.25 per hour
