**Position Summary**

In addition, the Payroll Coordinator will produce, analyze and interpret reports and data related to payroll functions as required.

**Major Accountabilities and Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Ensure the employee experience is positive, exceeding employee expectations when they have payroll questions and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Responsible for the company’s payroll functions, including being accountable to management for the accuracy of employees’ pay.
- Determine basic payroll operating policies and devising methods of accomplishing objectives in the most effective manner.
- Process semi-monthly payroll for 550 hourly and salaried employees in Alberta, accurately and on time utilizing ADP Workforce Now.
- Create and edit reports in ADP, provide custom reports to Management.
- Keep up to date with the government legislation to ensure Insight Medical Imaging complies.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders (government representatives and external auditors).
- Coordinate with payroll service provider ADP.
- Full-cycle payroll including year-end adjustments, balancing and reconciliation. T4 & T2200 tax statement processing, ROE.
- Manage employee records and maintain security of such records.
- Track step progression entitlement and give step increases to employees accurately and on time.
- Provide ADP Workforce now training to employees (Employee Self-Service) and supervisors (Manager Self-Service) if required.
- Other tasks as assigned by the VP Finance & Corporate Services.

**Required Qualifications**
- Certified Payroll Professional, Canadian Payroll Association.
- 3-5 years of related payroll experience.
- Knowledge of Canadian Payroll Legislation
- Knowledge of Accounting practices and principles.
- Extensive experience with ADP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to take on new tasks, learn new procedures and processes and be innovative.
- High degree of confidentiality, discretion and initiative.
- Ability to work well with a team to ensure the common goal of exceptional service is always met.
