We are looking for a driven, passionate, positive individual to join our Distribution Operations & Enablement team.

A key part of the Aviva Canada Distribution strategy is to deliver systems and process change to support our evolving business, brokers, and customers.

Aviva is undertaking a major change program that will transform systems and Aviva’s interactions with brokers and customers.

The primary purpose of this role is to govern the change program impacting the Distribution team. This will include working closely with Aviva’s IT and Change functions to monitor and track project progress along with being responsible for resourcing plans. The role will work closely with Distribution partners and other key collaborators and project owners in other parts of the business to ensure smooth transition for brokers, partners, and customers.

The core purpose is to deliver on Aviva’s Distribution goals by ensuring that Aviva’s change program provides positive outcomes for brokers, partners, and customers.

This role supports the wider Distribution team - including reach across Broker Distribution teams in all regions.

What you'll do:
- Drive delivery of the Distribution change portfolio, including ensuring alignment of the portfolio with the Distribution and corporate strategy.- Coordinate Distribution delivery of large enterprise level projects, ensuring integration between Distribution, PI, ABI, GCS, IT and Transformation teams.- Play a key role in the prioritization of Distribution change initiatives, including maintaining and managing a project backlog and supporting business case production for enterprise level Distribution led projects.- Provide constant review and challenge of the Distribution change portfolio to ensure value is delivered for customers, brokers, and partners.- Act as a trusted advocate for Aviva Broker Distribution and be the ‘Voice of the Broker’, both in the prioritization, scoping and delivery of enterprise-wide projects, projects initiated in other areas of the business and Distribution led initiatives.- Ensure that deployment activities for projects/programs are being considered throughout and champion any key change strategies within the projects/programs.- Identify key Distribution talent for deployment to key initiatives.- Responsible for maintaining broker enablement and change frameworks, governance and impact assessments as an input to design, build and deployment.- As change projects are implemented and launch, act as the interface between the broker and BD teams and the project/program to support any communication or fixes required. Report initiative status on the implementation to Aviva leadership and to the broker community.- Ensure Aviva change integrates effectively with Broker / Partner business process and platforms, including BMS systems while arranging broker consultation and input.- Drive production of Distribution project business cases with SME’s.- Responsibility for reporting on project financials and cost and benefits tracking.- Design and maintain transformation governance framework for Distribution and Broker Distribution.- Develop, lead and handle other projects and assignments, as required.

What you’ll bring:
- You will have a university degree, College Diploma or equivalent work experience.- Transformation / Change, project management skills an asset- Process orientation and skills for developing change and project plans.- Positive relationship management and influencing skills.- Strong business management (business plans, marketing plans, metrics, understands business drivers) capabilities.- Creative and bold problem solver with a curiosity to learn.- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the capability to communicate at all levels (with internal and external partners and via different media) is meaningful to the role.- Experience in at least 1 of the following areas:
- 5+ years insurance experience, preferably in or around the broker distribution channel- Business and financial planning- French language an asset
