As a Continuous Improvement Engineer you'll be responsible for enhancing the warehouse processes. Collaborating with team members, to identify areas of inefficiency and create solutions that streamline operations, minimize waste, and enhance quality while ensuring safety. Your core responsibility is to drive improvements in safety, service, and process, and to integrate lean principles strategically into the team.

What you'll do
  • Define and deploy process standards in warehousing operations focused on repeatable processes, supported with documentation and tools to support
  • Facilitate change management throughout various stages of our lean journey/continuous improvement journey, generating action plans within the Markham Distribution Center, aligned with stakeholders in the organization to drive improved service to customers
  • Direct involvement in developing new and improving existing processes to maximize distribution execution KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) while coordinating and reporting actions, while ensuring improvements are sustainable
  • Coordinate and support all 5S related activities for driving change while using statistical analysis to measure process performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase customer's satisfaction efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality
  • Identify and resolve process issues through cross-functional collaboration
  • Develop training programs to ensure process compliance
Your qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field ​
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse process improvement or related field
  • Strong Data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.
