**Here’s the scoop - Summary**

The Human Resources Administrator will have the ability to manage efficiently and effectively a consistent, and at times heavy workload, while thriving in a self-directed work environment. The Human Resources Administrator will be organized, efficient with the ability to engage team members in a professional and personable manner.

The position works out of our facility in Acheson, AB and reports to the Human Resources Manager.

**What a typical day looks like**:

- Maintain recruitment tracker & provide recruitment updates to HR Manager, Hiring Managers, etc. as requested.
- Prepare new hire offer letters & provide documents related to new hire (e.g. boot voucher allowances).
- Coordinate new hire orientations (HR, Safety, Quality).
- Create and maintain electronic employee files, including but not limited to employment contracts, verification letters.
- Complete Education Assistance administrative and Employee Referral administrative duties.
- Oversee and manage annual performance review process (reminders, tracking of reviews, and conducting quality audits).
- Conduct ongoing audits of facility employee distribution lists and access cards.
- Conduct and track Exit Interviews for Canadian Operations.
- Respond to and address employee questions related to locker assignments, perks & benefits, correct contacts (i.e. Payroll or IT), etc.
- May provide back up support to HRBP and/or HR Manager with respect to investigation employee complaints, general investigations, etc.
- Provide back up to support with respect to administration of Attendance Management Program and to employee leaves.
- Prepare and/or present relevant HR Training.
- Coordinate, and/or support in delivering on employee events.

**What are we looking for?**
- Relevant post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources.
- Must have 1 to 3 years of prior recruiting and Human Resources administrative experience.
- Ability to effectively partner with all levels of the organization and positively influence others.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite and able to learn how to utilize Company HRIS and LMS systems.

**Working Conditions**
- Must be available to work onsite and travel between the Canadian Operations facilities within Alberta (Acheson, Edmonton, and Morinville).
- Must be available to work outside of regular working hours (e.g. host training sessions to night supervisor team).
- Comfort with public speaking in front of large groups.
