We are currently hiring for the position of:
**COORDINATOR, SCREENING VENUE LOGISTICS**

Co-ordinate the procurement of supplies, services, equipment, and generate logistics documentation and production schedules to ensure the successful execution of screening venue activities. During the Festival, the Production Coordinator will provide logístical assistance and site management at the venues and work with all venue operations staff, stakeholders, volunteers and other departments as needed. This position will also have co-oversight over Festival Street Area Supervisors, Production Supervisors, Production Assistants and Volunteers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Shall include but not be limited to:_- Develop a schedule of logístical activities and logístical documentation to ensure successful venue operations.- Sourcing and costing out rented or purchased venue-related equipment and services, within a given budget.- Ensure the Festival venues receive all rental equipment, signage and other supplies on time and as required;- Maintaining inventory at all times and ensuring accurate returns.- Creating and distributing administrative paperwork and supplies associated with the Festival’s venue operations.- Organize and supervise Festival Street Area Supervisors, Production Supervisors, Production Assistants, and Volunteers.- Coordinate event production logistics schedules.- Collect relevant information from other TIFF departments and disseminate to the Event Production team.- Create training documentation and assist in training on logistics related items e.g. radios, rentals and venue set ups.- Create and update venue floor plans.- Support TIFF teams with logístical elements and signage- Assist in the coordination of on-site venue and red carpet setups and load outs including temporary street closures and barricade movement.- Supervise the load out and return of all logistics vehicles, venue and departmental supplies, signage, and equipment.- Prepare pre-Festival reports, daily Festival reports, and contribute to a post-mortem report- Support the Manager, Festival Logistics and Senior Manager, Festival Logistics with all related projects and deliverables.- Other duties as assigned.

**RATE OF PAY**:
- $24.00/Hourly

**WORK LOCATION**:
- Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5- Weekly in office requirements:
- Minimum 2 days (November to May)-
- Minimum 3 days (June to October)-
- Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the area of event production and logistics coordination of cultural or corporate events.- Experience with indoor and outdoor event setups and operations.- Previous festival, theatre, or large event production experience is an asset.- University degree, college diploma or equivalent work experience- Experience creating and coordinating production schedules- Experience obtaining bids and working with vendors- Excellent organizational and planning skills- Ability to work and respond well in fast-paced and high pressure environments- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or other layout and mapping programs an asset- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based file sharing programs- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment- Desire and ability to take initiative and coordinate projects- Commitment to creating a superior product and awareness of industry trends- Demonstrated supervisory skills- Understanding and commitment to creating a superior product- Ability to maintain efficiency and attention to detail while working under multiple, strict and tight deadlines- Ability to clearly layout processes and procedures for others to follow- Ability to work and respond well in fast-paced and high pressure environments- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
