**Your Mission**: As our Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be the voice behind our cause. From crafting captivating press releases to orchestrating purr-fectly coordinated marketing campaigns, you'll ensure that our message reaches far and wide. Plus, you'll get to collaborate with a team of passionate individuals who share your love for animals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Press Paw-lificator**: Pounce on research, writing, and distributing press releases to champion the organization’s mission and services.

**Media Mutt-tasks Manager**: Fetch requests from media and fetch info, photos, or videos for snappy responses.

**Spokespet Supporter**: Arrange and back media spokespeople with purrfect messaging.

**Advertising Avenger**: Fetch and sniff out advertising partnerships, always on the tail of new opportunities.

**Print Paw-fectionist**: Design print marketing materials with a tail-wagging eye for aesthetics, and write content that’s the cat’s whiskers.

**Marketing Menagerie Maestro**: Juggle marketing requests from internal purr-tners and outside critters alike.

**Social Media Songbird**: Collaborate with the Communications Assistant to chirp out blogs, website stories, and keep the web nest tidy.

**E-Newsletter Egghead**: Hatch internal and external e-newsletters that fly to diverse audiences with engaging chirps.

**Article Artisan**: Pen articles that tweet the voices of the organization and its top birds.

**Business Barkitect**: Assist in crafting business materials and giving pitches that make tails wag.

**Marketing Mastermind**: Aid in creating the yearly marketing and communications plan.

**Editorial Egg-spert**: Juggle and oversee editorial calendars with avian precision.

**Messaging Moggy**: Assist departments in purring out messages that speak to the hearts of their audiences.

**Volunteer Vibe Valet**: Collaborate closely with marketing and communications volunteers, fostering a flock that amplifies the organization’s chirp.

**Promo Paw-troller**: Manage the distribution of promotional materials.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent work experience and education (extra points if you have a diploma in cat whispering)
- 3-5 years of experience in public relations and marketing (bonus if you've organized a doggy fashion show)
- Excellent written, design, media relations and digital marketing skills (if you can make a cat meme go viral, you're our kind of person)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task (cats may have nine lives, but we've got a million things to do)
- Excellent creative thinking and problem solving skills (because when somebody says “I have a challenge”, you say “accepted”)
- An incredibly keen and self-motivated attitude (just wait until you meet us)
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (because we have a stellar line-up of pet perfect events)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
