**Job Summary**:
Responsible for the development and execution of CGC’s marketing strategy aligned with the organization’s strategic initiatives. Leading the Product Management & Marketing Team to develop and implement strategies for product categories within Canada. The Product Managers, Technical Solutions Manager, and Marketing Communications Manager will report to the Manager, Marketing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for leading the marketing, and technical functions within Canada.
- Leads, coaches and develops a team of Product Managers, Marketing & Technical Professionals
- Develops and implements marketing initiatives to ensure that CGC optimizes channel opportunities with new and existing products.
- Develops and implements strategy to leverage CGC's technical expertise to influence the architectural, specification, design, and code community._ _
- Oversees all packaging and branding initiatives ensuring compliance with corporate standards
- Owns the relationship with third party marketing agencies to ensure alignment with overall CGC strategy
- Owns and Manages the Marketing Budget ensuring spending is aligned with National Marketing Strategy.
- Leads alignment of digital marketing initiatives to National Marketing Strategy
- Develops and maintains excellent working cross functional relationships. Extensive communication with other departments within USG and CGC for implementing new business strategies in Sales; Manufacturing; Sourcing; Transportation; Credit; Customer Service & Research

**Qualifications**

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree

**Required Skills**:

- Sales experience, technical expertise and industry knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and operationalize marketing strategy in a way that engages the team and is responsive to customer needs and changing market conditions.
- Previous experience leading people is an asset to attract, retain, and develop a team.
- High level of organizational skills and the ability to effectively undertake multiple tasks designed to fulfill the business goals.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact effectively with prospects, customers, and CGC employees.
- Decision making and problem-solving skills to determine key issues and problems, evaluate implications, and respond in an appropriate and timely manner to provide solutions.
