**About this role**:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Business Lending Development Consultant, based in our Mississauga office.

You will be part of the Vendor Finance team to work with a group of highly skilled individuals. You will help to develop and foster deep relationships within the Industrial and Technology sectors. We have strategic relationships with Manufacturers and other partners in excess of $2 billion in the Canadian marketplace.

**In this role, you will**:

- Manage relationships for assigned medium to large and high profile dealer accounts
- Develop strategy, proposals, and initiatives to generate additional revenues through optimizing business opportunities and ensure dealer satisfaction
- Analyze profitability of ongoing relationship management and make recommendations to management about account disposition
- Perform needs analyses with current customers and understand customer needs
- Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

**Required Qualifications**:

- 6+ months of Business Lending Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business related programs
- Having undertaken or undertaking a CFA, CA, CMA or MBA -Finance Program
- Knowledge of financial accounting and taxation
- An in-depth knowledge of Financing and Accounting
- Effective information technology skills
- A demonstrated passion for customer interaction and business development
- Superior analytical skills
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding, collaborative, team-driven environment

- Desire to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to collaborate with employees from the supporting cross functional teams such as credit, legal, operations
