**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Purchasing**:

- Identify and evaluate suppliers in collaboration with the sales manager, negotiate terms, and establish contracts to procure goods and services at the best possible cost.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage the purchasing process from order placement through delivery, ensuring timely receipt of goods.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overburdening storage capacity or tying up excessive capital.
- Monitor inventory management systems to track stock levels, orders, deliveries, and sales.
- Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Forecast demand for products and plan inventory levels to meet production and sales targets.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., service, sales, finance) to understand their purchasing and inventory needs.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, ensuring clarity on delivery schedules, quality requirements, and other critical aspects.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, purchasing activities, and cost analysis to management.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in purchasing and inventory management.
- Implement best practices in procurement and inventory control to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Stay updated on market trends, new products, and potential suppliers to ensure the company remains competitive.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or a related role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
