**Role Description**

Haloo is looking for the next **Business Development Representative**. In this role, you will partner closely with our Sales and Marketing teams. From identifying Haloo’s ideal customer and executing outbound prospecting strategies to facilitating initial conversations and creating market-wide excitement about Haloo, you will be an integral member of our Sales organization. You're a detective, a prospector, and a cheerleader for Haloo - hungry to succeed, results-driven, resilient and creative. Your key metrics are leads and contacts created, meetings booked, and conversion from outreach campaigns.

**Responsibilities**
- Prosecting & customer outreach (80%) _
- Develop new business leads through creation of customer lists, research, and prospecting
- Use prospecting and research tools (including LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Apollo, and HubSpot) to identify target prospects
- Develop and execute Haloo's direct outbound strategy to drive growth, including content drafting and optimization
- Craft your own style of delivering Haloo’s value proposition in a way prospects will relate to discussing our products and features
- Own an account list and prospect to set up meetings with qualified opportunities
- Act as the first point of contact on a prospective customer's journey to becoming a Haloo client
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing and partner closely with Account Executives to transition leads
- Strategize with team members to innovate and improve the overall sales development process
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to improve your craft and share your learnings from the front line.
- Administrative (20%) _
- Document all interactions and touchpoints with prospects in company CRM, HubSpot
- Use HubSpot to track weekly and monthly goals and progress
- Strategic analysis of outbound and outreach strategies using data from HubSpot, to create best practices and impactful outreach campaigns
- Optimize sales team’s use of HubSpot including: optimizing fields and data for optimized measurement of data and KPIs; maintaining company, contact, product and deal records to ensure proper reporting and data
- Create reports in HubSpot to measure personal and team KPIs

**Requirements (Sound like you?)**

**Experience**: Prior start-up experience is a huge plus, as is prior work experience as an SDR or BDR with a demonstrated history of success. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot), Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc., as well as tools like Slack and Zoom is a plus.

**Highly organized**: Excellent organizational skills, to keep track of leads and data, work within HubSpot and track all interactions and data points consistently and follow SOPs meticulously.

**Strategic thinker**: You love data and are always evaluating and looking to improve results based on what is and isn’t working. You figure out what matters most to people and can articulate value for them. You’re constantly adding value and looking for opportunities, based on the trends and information before you.
