**Jr Production Planner**
Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance** **and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco prides itself on providing a great employee experience where safety always comes first. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting Jr Production Planner for the **Edmonton **manufacturing team. This position will report to the **Production Lead**.

**What you will do**:
- Respond to production inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Create, maintain, and issue work orders.
- Review work order summaries for accurate costing
- Daily release work orders to the shop floor, ensuring that all materials are available to complete the project. Analyze any deficiencies and determine a proper course of action.
- Print off schedule for departments.
- Assisting with the maintenance and update of our computerized scheduler, the ERP System
- Replenish and maintain targeted inventory levels; Assist in physical inventories
- Ensure inventory is accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain constant communication with all departments to coordinate and schedule production of products and to keep all departments informed of our production capacity
- Promotes teamwork and effective work practices with all departments
- Continuously strives for excellence in both performance and process
- Collect, compile and report pertinent production data in an easily understandable manner
- Performing all other duties as required
- Cross training in other departments for various task coverage
**Your qualifications**:
- Previous experience in procurement planning is asset
- Post
- secondary education in management or supply chain management is an asset.
