Edmonton, Canada Epiroc Careers Full time

The Planner will be responsible for the seamless workflow of daily operations, in an organized and timely manner. They will work with the Service Manager, and Supervisors in planning, scheduling, and executing work plans and ensureing that all employees are trained and follow all policies and procedures assigned, deliver excellent service and build/develop lasting relationships with customers, and complete daily audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist and work with manager and supervisors in completing quotes for automation products and services for internal and external customers
- Assist and work with manager and supervisors in reducing WIP
- Assist in creating project schedules and updating Gant charts according to progress
- Complete HR and H&S orientation duties with new hires
- Request set-up in SAP and monitor for new hires
- Manage MRS policies and procedures including service request and reports etc.
- Ensure service reports are attached and in order when requesting work orders to be closed.
- Establish a working relationship with customers / fellow employees
- Help with internal documentation of training.
- Assist with internal tracking of MRS service clothing and required tools.
- Understand and help manage the employee related cost section of the service variance
- Review monthly flight costs and ensure they are allocated to the correct work orders
- Direct calls from customers to the appropriate technical service advisor.
- Assist manager and supervisors with daily duties.
- Assist in ordering parts and shipping to customer sites.
- Opening service requests (SRF).
- Updating SRFs as required.

EXPERIENCE:

- Red Seal Electrician

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:

- Minimum of a grade 12 Education.

INTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of Epiroc Service Protocols and procedures
- A team player able to work well with & provide support/assistance to all departments within Epiroc.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, SAP, BPCS
- Strong knowledge of Epiroc Automation Products
- A proven Self Starter and able to work with a minimum of supervision
