The Texture Artist is responsible for the design of textures / shading that define character, objects, and environment.

**In this role you will**:

- Work closely the Art Director, the Technical Art Director, Art Lead and Lighting artist to achieve the artistic vision of a new IP;
- Organize the texture pipeline, with Technical Art Director, Art Lead and Lighting Artist;
- Work closely with artists to understand environments needs and help them suggesting textures and technics;
- Understand the environments and assets production pipeline;
- Ensure clear communication with their managers to give visibility to their team and their work.

**What we’re looking for**:

- 5+ years of experience in a similar position, within the gaming industry;
- Knowledge of constraints related to real time rendering and mastering of 2D / 3D computer graphics software - Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer / (Maya / ZBrush / Photoshop;
- Knowledge of Unreal engine (ideally Unreal 5);
- Proficiency in the PBR process;
- Solid understanding of image and composition (lighting, composition, calibration, rendering);
- Excellent english communication skills, adaptability as well as sense of organization and anticipation.

**Dans ce rôle, vous devrez**:

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le directeur artistique, le directeur artistique technique, le chef d’équipe artistique et l’artiste en éclairage pour réaliser la vision artistique d’une nouvelle IP;
- Organiser le processus d'élaboration des textures avec le directeur artistique technique, le chef d’équipe artistique et l’artiste en éclairage;
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les artistes pour comprendre les besoins relatifs aux environnements et les aider à suggérer des textures et des techniques;
- Comprendre l'environnement et le processus de production des ressources;
- Calibrage et polissage des textures pour les appliquer dans l’univers de jeu;
- Assurer une communication claire avec leurs responsables pour donner de la visibilité à leur équipe et à leur travail.

**Ce que nous recherchons**:

- Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en tant qu'artiste de texture;
- Connaissance des contraintes liées au rendu en temps réel et maîtrise de logiciels artistiques : Maya / Substance Painter, Substance Designer / ZBrush / Photoshop;
- Connaissance du moteur Unreal (idéalement Unreal 5);
- Maîtrise du processus de PBR;
- Bonne compréhension de l'image et de sa composition (éclairage, composition, calibration, rendu);
- Excellente communication orale et écrite en anglais, sens de l'organisation et de l'anticipation.

L'artiste en texture est responsable de la conception de textures/shading des modèles de personnages, décors, et accessoires en 3D, tout en respectant les règles techniques et la vision artistique établies sur le projet.
