The Learning and Leadership Development Advisor is responsible for the coordination, communication, administration, and maintenance of Learning and Leadership Development programs including the Corporate Orientation Program, Open Professional Development sessions, the learning library program, the Management Essentials program, Leadership Foundations Program, Advanced Leadership Development Program, Champlain LHIN Senior Leadership Program, Executive Talent Management Program, and the Mentorship Program.

The Advisor is one of the very first people that all new staff joining The Ottawa Hospital will meet. As co-host of the bi-weekly Corporate Orientation Program, they will deliver a warm welcome and present the information that all new employees need as they begin their career with TOH.

The Advisor is also the primary point of contact for staff and leaders who are seeking information or support from the Learning and Leadership Development team. They are responsible for the administration of the in-house Psychometric programs (EQi, SDI, and SuccessFinder) as well as the TOH leadership 360 process and tools. The Advisor is a support for Leadership events, producing key messages from the TOH leadership team following Leadership Development Institute (LDI), and updating HR related intranet content on myHR for Leaders as well as myHospital and on the Your Career with Us onboarding website. They Advisor also plays a back-up and support role for the Learning Producer, providing technical production support to Learning and Leadership development events.

**What you will bring**:

- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development or related field;
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related position;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent organizational, time management and decision-making skills to effectively manage deadlines and changing priorities;
- Able to perform effectively in a high paced and detail-oriented environment, requiring a high degree of personal organization;
- Sound problem solving skills and able to exercise judgment to determine and/or initiate or seek guidance in the resolution of issue;
- Strong client/service-oriented abilities and competencies;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision and in teams.

- Knowledge of the principles of adult learning;
- Knowledge of learning and leadership development principles, practices and procedures;
- Knowledge of Hospital policies, rules and regulations;
- Intermediate knowledge of Human Resources Information System (HRIS);
- Intermediate knowledge of Enterprise Learning Management (ELM);
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
