The primary responsibility of the Transportation Coordinator is to establish communication between prospective donors and haulers in order to ensure an expedient and enjoyable donor experience. The incumbent is responsible for working closely with the Vehicle Donation Program (VDP) team to make sure that vehicle pickups are completed within 48 hours. Responsibilities include: managing contracted haulers and ensuring that VDP and contracted haulers follow policies and procedures as outlined in the driver’s manual, carrying out work in a safe manner, inputting appropriate data into the VDP database, addressing donor inquiries, and processing transactions within the VDP environment.
