Join our team at New Century, a leading dry freight carrier operating in the western United States and Canada. We are currently seeking an experienced, ambitious, and energetic Business Development Manager to support and grow our trucking operations in the USA. As Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in driving growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and maximizing business opportunities. **Responsibilities**:

- Lead the entire business development cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Identify and convert new accounts into long-term business opportunities, focusing on high-growth potential.
- Manage and maintain existing accounts, provide ongoing support, and ensure customer retention.
- Understand customer transportation needs and provide customized solutions to address their unique challenges.
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategic business plans that align with company objectives.
- Foster and nurture strong relationships with customers through regular communication and service agreement reviews.
- Monitor and forecast individual sales activity and performance, meeting monthly targets and revenue expectations.
- Effectively communicate with customers, sales teams, and operations staff to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with operational changes, company directives, and project developments, working closely with leadership and operations teams.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, effectively demonstrating the value of our transportation solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with customers, establishing mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer information in CRM systems.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Proven business development experience in the transportation or 3PL industry.

Must be a team player.

Excellent interpersonal, persuasion, follow up, negotiation, and communication skills.

Must understand sales numbers, graph, charts, sales performance matrix.

Formal education in Operations, logistics, or transportation is an added advantage.

Customer-focused, result-oriented team player.

Ability to build rapport with key clients and manage multiple client relationships effectively.
