IoT Business Development Manager

As the IoT Business Development Manager, you'll need a solid background in startup environments, particularly in B2B sales and engaging with municipalities. You'll be at the forefront of our Citysage department, shaping the future with IoT solutions that provide invaluable operational insights to our clients. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies, exceeding company goals.
- Lead the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, with support from our team when necessary.
- Foster and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Solution Architects, Data Science, Operations, Design, and Marketing.
- Work with the marketing team to create compelling sales and marketing materials.
- Adapt sales strategies based on market trends and competitor activities.
- Provide regular sales updates, reports, and forecasts to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
- Attend trade shows and events to expand your network and generate leads.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in challenging sales roles, with a track record of surpassing targets.
- Resilient, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Successful history in similar sales roles.
- Previous experience selling to municipalities and government agencies.
- Proficiency in IoT, SaaS, and B2B sales.
- Strong marketing and lead generation background.
