Regional Sales Specialist

**Regional Salesperson**
- Location: Nisku, AB preferred, would consider AB, BC or SK
, Permanent (Monday - Friday, on-call)
- Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 base + Commission
**Role**:
- Developing new business leads in Horticulture - retail products and large-scale growers in Western Canada
- Following up on leads and conducting research to identify potential prospects
- Ensuring all communication with new or existing customers is logged into a CRM system
- Preparing and analyzing data to build a sales pipeline
- Offer support to department heads as required
- Offering professional, effective and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
- Handling customer concerns effectively
- Providing guidance on price competitiveness
- Participating in trade shows, training or associated product meetings when necessary
**Skills**:
- Self-Starter who can think outside of the box
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Client management skills
- Multitasking skills
- Excellent selling and negotiation skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to interpret and analyze sales data with the support of a sales manager
- Knowledge of basic computer programs ie: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook
**Requirements**:
- Valid class 5 license, clean drivers abstract & reliable vehicle
- Well maintained vehicle - business use allowance.68 cents/km
- 2+ years in outside sales experience
- 2+ years experience in the horticultural or agricultural field
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Agriculture, Farming or related experience
- Experience using a CRM, preferably Hubspot
