Regional Corporate Sales

**Purpose**:
The Manager, Regional Group Sales, is responsible for helping grow the membership business by sourcing new leads, securing group membership agreements, and managing the relationships with local employers, corporations, and various community groups. This role serves as a key partner to the Regional Managers and the Regional Vice President with the overall planning and execution of local marketing, sales, and community engagement. You will directly support the field leadership from Regional Managers to General Managers across the assigned territory or portfolio of clubs.
This role requires a leader who consistently assesses the performance and profitability of our clubs, as well as the effectiveness of our current lead generation, lead management, community engagement with local events and corporate partners, all in an effort to secure more group sales that will grow the business.
You will partner cross functionally with marketing at the brand level, operations, FP&A, and Human Capital to improve overall strategy and execution. This leader is an extension of the Field Leadership team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Grow club membership and achieve more new member joins through targeted and local sales initiatives with co-tenants, corporate employers, and community sources
- Source, secure, and foster B2B relationships resulting in long term membership contracts for large member bases
- Responsible for providing invoicing, usage reports, and unused perks to Corporate Partners
- Ensure high levels of member satisfaction and retention of corporate membership contracts
- Manage the brand reputation and brand positioning of Planet Fitness clubs to maximize exposure in communities and designated market areas
- Implement a consistent local community engagement strategy, including local events, grand opening playbooks, & targeted initiatives, to deploy across all clubs and various markets
- Utilize CRM/tracking tools for effective relationship management and production reporting
- Measure, analyze, act, and improve marketing programs & always refining KPIs & reporting
- Collaborate with Ignite Fitness & Planet Fitness Headquarters' Marketing team(s) to align local marketing efforts with corporate initiatives
- Proactively partner with the Ignite Fitness Leadership Team to develop and negotiate bulk membership contracts, terms, and pricing in coordination
- Engage with Regional and Club leadership regularly to develop leads in new clubs and existing markets
- Regularly attend all Field Leadership meetings to evaluate, set direction, measure execution, and share results broadly
- Partner with Field Operations team to diagnose local/regional market opportunities and challenges; assess the competition and key insights; create plans/programs to address them; provide course-correction guidance to field leaders; and help track the impact of these plans
**What You Have Done**:
- Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive sales and/or marketing experience required; B2C & B2B a plus
- A career path that reflects increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable results and achieving sales targets
- Experience in a multi-unit organization required; multi-market (State, Country, Province) preferred
- International experience (Canada) a plus but not required
- Experience building and executing a field/geo-specific marketing plan(s)
- Experience with go-to-market strategy and execution

**Additional Notes**:
- ** Travel**:A minimum of 50% travel to various clubs and markets. Overnight trips may be necessary when traveling outside of the local area
