**Medical Office Receptionist**

Pulse Family Practice is a fast-paced family medicine practice in Waterloo with 6 family physicians looking to hire a medical office receptionist. Current opportunity is a part-time position starting as soon as possible.

Most shifts are completed between 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday; availability to work occasional evening and weekend shifts with the on-call physician is an asset.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage referrals and specialists appointments
- Work efficiently with Electronic Medical Records (Telus PS Suite)
- Document appropriately within the patient chart
- Invoice and collect uninsured payments and maintain records
- Exam room and waiting room maintenance and organization
- Maintain office inventory, and order supplies as needed

**Qualifications**:

- College Medical Office Administration Diploma, or experience in medical offices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Very organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task and a good team player
- Knowledge of office procedures and medical terminology
- OHIP and third party billing experience
- Experience with Telus PS Suite is an asset
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends on-call

Part-time, hours to be determined

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

- Occasional weekends, evenings, holidays

Supplemental pay types:

Part-time hours: 12-37.5 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
