**ROLE TITLE**: Housing Coordinator
**PLACEMENT**:FT Salaried. Starting at $55,000/yr.

**GENERAL FUNCTION**:
Reporting to the Director of Housing and Supportive Community, this position will be part of a multi-faceted team that oversees the creation and operation of safe, affordable, hopeful communities of housing and shared spaces across a spectrum of affordability, location, size, permanence, and support. The Housing Coordinator will oversee the Housing Team as they work closely with residents across all sites and within the community to develop and manage housing plans designed to support their needs and goals. They will be responsible for intake, housing sustainability, rent collection and tracking, partnership and collaboration, reporting, and developing hope through housing.
**HOUSING COORDINATOR ROLE SPECIFIC DUTIES & DETAILS**:

**SUPPORTIVE HOUSING**: _Coaching, mentoring, training, developing tools, creating housing plans and operating agreements across all sites to support the growth and development of residents and housing team members._
- Oversee supportive housing offer process (through referral or prioritization though Coordinated Access)
- Complete intake with new residents
- Oversee, coach, mentor, and provide tools to Housing Team as they work with residents to develop housing plans designed to support their housing needs and goals, address barriers to housing, and develop skills needed to stay successfully housed
- Manage the housing sustainability process with residents and partner agencies when occupancy agreement obligations are unmet
- Support resident transition to permanent housing
- Develop and continuously assess and adjust systems/processes for rent tracking and collection, resident outcomes tracking, on-call and emergency call response, housing support service provision, team member training & development, volunteer engagement etc. to ensure Redwood is a leader in providing safe, affordable, hopeful housing
- Daily HIFIS entry
- Quarterly reporting to funders, service managers, leadership and executive teams
- Support the Facilities Team to develop and maintain housing & facilities budgets, repair/maintenance service request process, monthly/quarterly inspection plans
- Support the Development Team to plan and design future housing and community spaces that foster community and connection
- On-call: There will be some requirement to be available for emergency situations
**PLAN**:_Assess and plan housing strategies for organization to meet community needs._
- Propose and implement housing plans for residents that align with Redwood’s vision, mission, values, and outcomes
- Execute strategic and operational housing plans to achieve Redwood’s identified priorities and outcomes
- Set financial goals, performance criteria, and tracking methodologies to evaluate goal achievement
- Work with the whole Redwood team and Board to be fully prepared for all required funder reports and audits
**LEAD & INSPIRE**:_recruit, retain, support, and encourage all team members in partnership with Leadership Team._
- Foster an environment of collaboration as a leader of the Housing Team, to support the mandate of the organization, including actively working to advance the strategic priorities
- Work with candor and transparency
- Provide leadership and insight in various aspects of housing supports, while encouraging a healthy workplace that embraces excellence and promotes collaboration and strategic team development
- Cultivate an ethos of community building throughout the organization and within the community
- Consult, coach, and advise as necessary with staff, volunteers, and community partners
- Pursue context not control while working with the Housing Team to model and train insight-driven and data-powered decision making
**BUILD COMMUNITY**:_develop relationships and collaborate with community, business, government, and internal team members._
- Identify and establish relationships with community organizations, business, and government that will further Redwood’s mission and vision
