Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Mississauga site is looking for a new Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist - Broker Handover to join our Sea Logistics team.
** Your Role**: As part of the Broker Handover team you are responsible to make sure that all documents are created correctly and submitted within time frame to customs or 3rd party customs broker, in order to clear goods, also you will be responsible to trouble shoot with terminals and 3rd party brokers if any issues in customs clearance/documentation.
** Your Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for document handover to broker in time
- You will work with carriers/NVOCC’s to obtain proper shipment info
- Work with overseas office to retain the correct information
- E-manifest filing for all of Canada shipment (US IMO + Canada IMO)
- Identify and resolve all e-Manifest related document issues (via 3rd party platform Descartes)
- Trouble shoot in case of any documentation or custom clearance issues by supporting the operations team and dealing with terminal, CBSA, SSL and 3rd party broker
- Backup for Broker handover automation (setup Business Profile properly to meet automation requirement)
- Ensure 100% compliance on Code of Conduct
- Other duties may be assigned by the Company

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in International Business, Transportation, Logistics, Commerce, Administration or related fields.
- 2+ years experience in similar role is needed
- 2+ years experience in the Freight Forwarding / Transportation industry is preferred.
- Proficient in Word, Excel (maintain complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint
- Proficient knowledge of International Business and Freight Forwarding
