Reporting to the Team Lead, Technical Operations Control Center, the Operations Coordinator, Control Centre relies on their extensive operational experience to provide insight, coaching and mentoring with stakeholders including Field Services, SCADA Engineering, Process Safety Engineering, Project Engineering, Scheduling, Quality, Training, and Safety to solve and prevent issues. The Operations Coordinator has the capability to coordinate the safe, efficient and timely operation of all/any of TNPI’s operating pipelines and maintains Operator Qualification to operate console and provide temporary and/or emergency console relief, support during high workload, support during abnormal and emergency situations.. The Operations Coordinator supports the TNPI Control Room Management Program through provision of training, sharing expertise both on the job and in classroom sessions, continuous mentoring of all Controllers, lending expertise procedure and training revisions/development, fulfil responsibilities in Daily Operations and CRMP meetings, work orders initiation and follow up, JSEP development and review, Incident and Close Call (HID) Investigations and Corrective Actions. The Operations Coordinator ensures compliance to CRMP and regularly reviews documentation to verify compliance; advises of non conformances and assists with gap closures for the same.

**KEY Responsibilities**
- Performs all roles and responsibilities of Sr Controller when supporting Console Operations and/ or assuming console operation as a Controller
- Responsible for the safe custody of all fuels within the TNPI and APPL systems
- Responsible for mentoring and training Controllers to their roles and responsibilities
- Responsible to assess Controller Competency for performance, progression and effectiveness
- Responsible for ticketing and measurement reconciliation by ensuring that the correct data is entered
- Responsible to ensure meter proves requirements are consistently met and ensures all accepted meter correction factors are to Measurement Standard
- Coordinates maintenance activities with field services personnel in order to minimize any operational issues
- Facilitates the safe operations of internal inspection tools in collaboration with Field Services
- Responsible to conduct simulated and live leak tests including documentation for compliance
- Responsible for conducting Job Observations on Shift Changes, Golden Hours, Covered Tasks and Leak Tests
- Responsible for performing all communication tasks of Sr Line Controller when supporting in Control Room operations
- Maintains clear and effective communications with the Shippers terminals in order to effect cooperation in the safe handling and disposition of all fuels transported
- Responsible to review/revise Operating Manuals, procedures, tools, SCADA displays
- Responsible to Support Controllers to prioritize and coordinate all daily pipeline activities in order minimize any conflicts and maintain operational control
- Maintains a thorough understanding of all TNPI and APPL Control Room Emergency Response Procedures
- Completes all TNPI training and online CBT courses as required
- Assists in training, developing and mentoring all pipeline controllers
- Assumes oversight responsibility for control room operations while on duty
- Assumes leadership role and provides direction during system or control room emergencies
- Provides support within control room during high workload, abnormal and emergency situations
- Continually monitors/analyses SCADA system PLM, and determines causes of any imbalances (measurement, communications or potential pipeline leak/rupture)
