**Ontario Territory Manager Position**

**Position Overview**
The Territory Manager is responsible for selling W.C. Smith Wholesale Distribution Incorporated (W.C. Smith) products or services to businesses or groups of individuals within a specified area. The Territory Manager will reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories and regular contact with customers. The common sales quota is ~2.0M a year per representative; this is highly achievable, even through external environment changes due to the wide array of in demand products. The Territory Manager will report to the Director, Sales & Marketing. This individual will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, communication skills and strong presentation skills are essential to this role.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain ongoing relationships with assigned accounts within specified sales territory
- Visit all assigned Canadian Tire, Home Hardware and other defined accounts on a cyclical basis
- Contact and educate prospective customers on products, explaining features to solicit orders
- Create professional sales presentations and facilitate demonstrations of company products
- Cold calling business’ to identify new opportunities and offer client product solutions
- Recommend products to customers based on the customer’s needs and interests
- Continuously uphold professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to maintain a positive company image
- Work with the assigned Account Managers and strategize business operations and secure new business
- Answer customer’s questions about products, prices, credit or contract terms, availability, delivery times, etc.
- Consult clients after sales or contract signing to resolve any issues, maintain ongoing service support

**Skill Requirements**
- University Degree or College Diploma or an acceptable combination of education and work experience
- Strong knowledge of Canadian retailers, wholesaler, practices and techniques
**Working Conditions**
- Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations
**Benefits**

- Salary & Commission position within an established territory. (Range $65K-85K)
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
