**Human Resources Generalist - 12 months fixed term contract**

Please note this is a 12 months fixed term contract.

**Employee Relations**
- Be the first point of contact for all employee queries. Responsible for providing timely, accurate information to all employees.
- Understand the ESA and be able to interpret and enforce policies.
- Confidence to know when to escalate issues to HR Director as needed.
- Create and provide Employment Verification Letters as requested.

**Contracts**
- Create all Employment and Freelance contracts.
- Track contract end dates for freelance employees ensuring all terms are signed and agreed to before expiry.
- Send new contract renewal offers to existing employees and be involved in the negotiation process.
- Process salary raises and promotions with payroll and in our HRIS system.

**Onboarding & New Hires**
- Collect all on-boarding employee documentation in order to start on time.
- Track all incoming new hires internally (using Google Sheets, Google Calendar and BambooHR).
- Coordinate with IT and Facilities to ensure new employees have the equipment needed and their account is set up properly.
- Run orientation - virtual and / or in-person.
- Explain the company policies and procedures in onboarding video meetings.
- Responsible for ensuring all new hires have signed and provided all documentation required in their first week.

**Offboarding**
- Process all terminations as part of the offboarding process. This includes liaising with IT, Payroll, Facilities, Production, and the other HR team members.
- Create and send out all termination letters.

**Benefits Administration**
- Account administrator for the health benefits program including online and manual registration and enrollment, processing changes, and terminations.

**HRIS Administration**
- Account administrator for HRIS (BambooHR) and is responsible for updating employee pages with changes in contract or personal information.
