**Position Profile**

Job description

Purpose

Ø The Hospice Society of Camrose & District Administrative Coordinator is responsible to represent the society in a compassionate and caring manner. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for efficient administrative, financial and clerical operations in the HSCD office.

Position type

Ø Employment agreement of 20 hours per week.

**Reporting**

Ø The Administrative Coordinator will report to the Hospice Society of Camrose & District Board President.

**Responsibilities**:
**Administrative Responsibilities**:
Ø Provide community contacts with applicable resources available through hospice

Ø Complete intakes over the phone for new clients and forward requests on to G&B Navigator or Volunteer coordinator as applicable.

Ø Provides clerical and computer support to staff and group facilitators.

Ø Coordinate with social media coordinator

Program Responsibilities:
Ø Register participants for scheduled programs as decided upon by the team and the board

Ø Assist facilitators with program material and set-up

Ø Record program participation stats

Financial Responsibilities:
Ø Receive, record, and acknowledge donations

Ø Data entry and maintenance of the donation data base, ensure timely responses

Ø Make Bank Deposits

Ø Communicate financial information to the Treasurer.

Society Responsibilities:
Ø Publish quarterly newsletter from information provided.

Ø Assemble reports for the AGM

Ø Assist with event planning when asked by the board.

Ø Submits a written monthly report to the board

Qualification Statement:
**Education and Experience**:
Ø Post-secondary office administration certificate or diploma preferred

Ø Previous experience in office administration an asset.

Ø Comfortable working in both Apple & Microsoft computer environments

Ø Excellent knowledge of MS Office365, Google Workspace

Ø Willing to learn and become proficient in computer programs unque to this office

Ø Experience with social media relations

Ø Experience in the not-for-profit environment

Ø Experience with event organization and participation

Ø **Personal Attributes/Skills/Abilities**:
Ø Friendly, welcoming personality is a must

Ø Time management and organizational skills

Ø Commitment to working independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment

Ø Proven experience in an office environment

Ø Problem solving ability

Ø High degree of discretion, sound judgement and professionalism

Positive attitude

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
