Responsibilities:
- Enter data into various systems accurately and efficiently
- Collect data from various sources and input it into the appropriate databases
- Type, proofread, and organize documents as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and records
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other office software to create and update spreadsheets
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed
**Skills**:
- Knowledge of Construction, renovation processes & building systems
- Strong administration skills
- Understanding of materials, fabrication methods and construction details
- Basic understanding of construction industry standards, building codes
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Office
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in data entry and typing with a high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office equipment operation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sydney, NS B1L 1B8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Data entry: 1 year (preferred)
