**OUT-OF-SCOPE NETWORK ANALYST**

**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Manager of IT, this position is responsible for all network operations, providing repairs,

upgrades, installs of new hardware and related software and documentation of networking components
including, security and network elements.
- Managing the operation of all local area networks and wide area networks, firewalls, enterprise wireless

following company policies and procedures
- Responsible for network infrastructure with a high security level. Position is part of project planning, disaster

recovery, infrastructure improvements and maintenance.
- Works closely with IT staff and vendors to ensure all networking components are monitored and maintained.

Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and designs of Information Technology (IT) systems configurations,

architecture, network and operating procedures

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively present

analytical data to a variety of technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong LAN/WAN skills, network routing, VLANs, troubleshooting of layer 2 and 3 switches required. IP

Subnetting, TCP/IP, DNS, IP trunking, NAT, VLAN, routing protocols
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers,

Wireless Devices. DLink, Dell Switch, Fortinet Firewall, Ruckus AP)
- Deploy and configure servers, storage and networking related infrastructure including network administrative

duties such as AD management, group policies, DNC, DHCP, Office 365 Administration and Azure
Administration
- Security monitoring, incident management and investigations as required
- Evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage and improve them
- Automation: Shell scripting or PowerShell are desirable
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

**Education**:

- Post-secondary technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in Network Design & Engineering Network

field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
- 3 Years of experience as a network analyst, or equivalent
